On November 18, 2022 in Atyrau, the X Annual Oilfield Service Conference "KAZNEFTEGAZSERVICE-2022" (Conference) will be held. This event was organized by the KazService Union of Oilfield Service Companies of Kazakhstan (KazService Union) with the official support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Atyrau Region, the PSA Authority and ATAMEKEN Scientific and Production Enterprise.
At the moment, members of the KazService Union are about 170 domestic oilfield service companies, as well as joint ventures and consortiums formed between Kazakh and foreign companies. Over the years of work of the KazService Union, this conference has become one of the main, sustainable and effective information and dialogue platforms for the oilfield services industry. This platform brought together the leaders and experts of relevant state bodies; regional akimats, in which the oil and gas and oilfield service industries are represented; three largest operators operating in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan represented by Tengizchevroil LLP, North Caspian Operating Company N.V. and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.; foreign investors involved in the implementation of major oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan; industry associations; national companies; financial institutions; as well as Kazakh and foreign companies. Interaction between all players in the oil and gas and oilfield services industry allowed for dialogue and feedback between the Kazakhstani oilfield services industry and experienced foreign contractors.
The main topic of the upcoming conference will be the discussion of projects in the gas and petrochemical industries.
At the previous Conferences, thanks to the active involvement of subsoil users and the participation of their first leaders, more than 350 people took part in the conference. The conference was attended by heads and experts of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Eni, ExxonMobil, Total, LukOil, operators of Tengizchevroil LLP, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. and North Caspian Operating Company N.V., as well as major foreign and Kazakh contractors and domestic producers of goods and services.
